What matters most...
It was mid of February when I was walking along the hallway of my school when i saw a big message posted in the bulletin board. The school was organizing an acoustic singing contest for the upcoming celebration of hearts.
Well, since i know that i am a born singer, i didn't hesitate to join the said contest. I find myself rushing to the student affairs office to sign up and audition and of course, to try my luck.
When i thought that everything is okay, i just realized that i didn't know how to play the guitar, and since the contest is acoustic, i need to have someone to be there and play the song for me. Luckily, i have my friend here, not just to play the song for me but also to be there to support me.
The contest is nearly coming, and i have myself rehearse a lot with my friend. Whenever, we were rehearsing, i always stream the online video of my piece and of course courtesy of my favorite artist, so that we can have the idea of what were gonna do on the stage. Performance of Course!.
Sadly, i didn't win the contest but its totally okay for me. Because for me, winning is not that important. What matters most is that I do share what i have and my talent to the world and be able to touch other people's hearts...For me, its more than enough. But I love it. I just really did....
